This problem started in elementary school and has continued until now in my senior year of college.
For example, the sight of water shaking in a clear water glass, or a swaying beaded curtain, and hearing bells, suitcase wheels, gongs and drums, and so on, make my heart flutter.
I'd really like to know what's causing this.
Hello my friend! Seeing that you are facing such confusion, I am giving you a warm hug first!
What's happening is that shaking things and some jingling noises can make you feel panicky, and the problem has been going on since elementary school.

Panic is actually a physical reaction, which is often referred to as a somatic symptom.
Usually, it is only when we have experienced some psychological trauma that the body reacts in this way.
My personal feeling is that it might have been when you were in elementary school and were startled by shaking things or jingling bells.
You were young then, and you may not remember it now, but those experiences will remain in your subconscious until you actively deal with them.
If your parents are in good health now, you can find a suitable opportunity to talk to them and ask if you had similar unpleasant experiences as a child.
Perhaps your parents can provide more details so you can better understand and address the issue at hand.
In terms of books, I recommend you to read the book "Our Inner Defense: Coping with Everyday Psychological Injuries" by Ms. Ren Li, a counselor, which may give you some inspiration.
I really wish you the best of luck in finding an effective solution to this problem.
That's all the advice I can think of at the moment.
I hope my answer will help and inspire you. I am the answerer learn well everyday.
The world and I love you on this platform. I wish you all the best!
