My boyfriend and I had a huge fight.
He ignored me all day, and for the first time that day I felt a full-body tremor, not pronounced but accompanied by palpitations and arrhythmia, as if a boulder had been pressed against my chest.
Then we made up and this never happened again.
But after that, in school, I noticed that whenever I encountered something that made me irritable or anxious, I would involuntarily tremble and my heart rate would be out of sync.
Now it seems to happen occasionally even when nothing is going on.
I know none of this is a big deal, but I just can't control the shaking.
What should I do?
Hello, owner, this is Whale Social Worker Kissing Wind.
I heard you had a fight with your boyfriend and after he ignored you for a day, you developed tremors and arrhythmia.
Shaking hands when you are nervous is most likely a physical reaction caused by anxiety or nervousness, or a physical symptom that accompanies an anxiety disorder.
Common physical symptoms of anxiety and nervousness include panic, palpitations, dizziness, headaches, chest tightness, breathlessness, and a variety of tremors, such as hand shaking or head shaking.
It is recommended that you observe the situation again and seek help from a professional psychologist if the problem of shaking hands when you are nervous persists.
Good luck~ (Whale Social Worker)
