Sometimes, do you suddenly feel especially tired and sad, or even inexplicably want to cry? Obviously life looks happy to outsiders, but you just can't be happy, and you don't know what you're really after? This confusion is really real.
Friend, a warm hug for you. Many people may not understand and may think that you are in such a good condition, what is there to be unhappy about?
But I get it, every second of feeling empty and meaningless is really hard.
Come on, let's go through these three points together to help you discover the root of the problem and find a way to fix it.
1. You're unhappy because you've lost connection with your true self
You may have a lot of external things, but if you're not happy, you're essentially disconnected from your inner self. When you and those close to you can't hear your inner voice, there will always be a lingering malaise and depression, no matter how busy or rich you are.
Because sincerity is the source of all our energy. If you can't find your heart, how can you be motivated when it's wonderful out there? Without motivation, there is no way to talk about happiness.
You say it feels like there's no reason for it, but listen closely to your inner voice and there's actually a reason for all the unhappiness. It's that we unknowingly ignore our heart and can't see what we really need, that's why we're sad.
2. Always thinking over and over again about what you want, but actually going in the wrong direction
True passion must come from within.
You're always trying to figure out what you really want and may have been struggling to find the answer.
But my dear, the inner voice, the favorite things, the true feelings, these are not available by 'thinking'. The more you analyze it with reason, the more you may instead put a fog over the true heart?
It's like fishing at the margins, the wrong way to go about it.
The inner voice needs to be heard with the heart. Be still, don't rush to solve or escape, just look inside and listen to it, it will tell you if you are happy and what you need.
Once you see these needs, accept them and fulfill them, happiness will come naturally.
3. There is actually no such thing as what one 'should' pursue.
The point of this is that happiness, meaning, ideals, all of these, are not readily available, so they don't have to be deliberately sought out, nor can they be found.
When you truly hear what your heart needs, you will naturally know what to ask for and what to do.
It's all water under the bridge, it's always been there.
My friend, when the mind is settled, joy comes; meaning, automatically, is revealed.
Everything's going to be okay.
